I love living on the Eastern Shore... what's not to love; rich heritage, picturesque waterways, and plentiful fresh seafood. I am a Baltimore transplant whose parents bought one of the 1st townhouses in Martingham as a weekend getaway. My mother was a successful Realtor in Baltimore and my father was a title lawyer. I met my husband in St. Michaels and have enjoyed "Eastern Shore Life" ever since.
My professional career, until 2007, was in retail management. I spent 15 years in our family owned home accessories store and then on to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for 9 years. My husband and I have built and remodeled numerous homes in St. Michaels so my transition into real estate was a natural one. Marketing, sales, and home improvement are in my blood and have always been my interests and livelihood. My clients greatly benefit from my knowledge of, and the talented contacts I have in, the home improvement and constuction fields.
My real estate career started during a challenging economic period in our country. This has been a mixed blessing - it has given me time to really learn this industry, our local land regulations, and grasp a true insight into home trends and real estate values. I have earned my Senior Real Estate Specialist designation, I am an Accredited Staging Real Estate Professional and have recently finished the required course study for my Short Sale and Foresclosure certification.
